Gel shift analysis with Human Recombinant AP1 (c-jun): The effect of poly d(I-C) on
specific complex formation

In this report, we show that a low concentration (0.01mg/ml) of poly d(I-C) is
required for optimal gel shift complex formation between Human Recombinant AP1 (c-jun) and
an oligonucleotide containing the corresponding AP1 consensus binding site. The
concentration of unlabeled competing oligonucleotide is also a critical factor for
demonstrating specific binding.
