Expanding Applications of Bioluminescence Technology: Predictive Bioassays for TNFα Biologicals Potency and Dose-Standardization Studies

Sarah Shultz, Andrew Niles, Jey Cheng and Simon T.M. Allard
Promega Corporation

Simple and predictive bioassays for potency and dose-standardization are still sought by the biopharmaceutical industry. Automatable, homogeneous bioassays are desirable because they can help to streamline this evaluative process. Implementing straightforward predictive automation-friendly bioassays as demonstrated in this article allows effective assessment of anti-TNFα and likely other biologicals for quality control.
