Anti-pS⁴⁷³ Akt pAb

Anti-pS⁴⁷³ Akt pAb (Cat.# G7441) was developed against the singly phosphorylated Ser⁴⁷³ region from the C-terminus of Akt-1 protein; the antibody is affinity-purified rabbit IgG. The antibody is selective for Akt-1, does not show cross-reactivity with nonphosphorylated Akt and is suited for Western blotting and immunocytochemistry.

Anti-Cytochrome C mAb

Anti-Cytochrome C mAb (Cat.# G7421)  was developed against cytochrome C, an electron carrier protein identified as essential to the mitochondrial respiratory process; the antibody is a mouse IgG (clone 6H2.B4). Cytochrome C is also important in the apoptosis pathway. The antibody is suited for immunocytochemistry and immunohistochemistry. This antibody is not recommended for Western blotting.

Anti-Luciferase pAb

Anti-Luciferase pAb (Cat.# G7451) was developed against North American firefly luciferase, a common reporter protein in genetic assays. The antibody is G-purified goat IgG. The antibody can detect luciferase in situ; it is specific for firefly luciferase and does not cross-react with Renilla luciferase. The antibody is suited for Western blotting, immunocytochemistry and immunohistochemistry.

TMB One Solution (Cat.# G7431) is a ready-to-use color substrate for the detection of horseradish peroxidase. TMB One Solution is recommended for ELISAs, not Western blotting or immunohistochemistry.

DNA Quantitation System is designed for sensitive and specific detection of picogram amounts of linear dsDNA and PCR fragments. Plasmid and chromosomal DNA can be quantitated following linearization and sizing to <6,000bp.

Deoxyuridine Triphosphate (dUTP) can be used in place of dTTP in PCR and RT-PCR protocols to prevent carryover from previous amplifications.
