Death Check Assay Systems
The Death Check I (Cat.#G7370), II
(Cat.# G7380)
and III (Cat.# G7390)
Assay Systems are bundled combinations of two systems, outlined below, for measuring
different aspects of apoptosis. Each Death Check System contains a brief Technical
Bulletin explaining the contents of the specific systems as well as the full Technical
Bulletins for each individual component system.
Anti-pT183 MAPK pAb, Rabbit
Anti-pT183 MAPK pAb, Rabbit (Cat.# V8081),
is raised against a peptide corresponding to ERK1 and ERK2 enzymes monophosphorylated on
threonine residue 183. This affinity-purified antibody is recommended for use at a 1:4,000
dilution in Western analysis with cellular extracts. This antibody is also suitable for
immunostaining at a 1:250 dilution.
PC12 Cell Extracts, Western Controls
PC12 Cell Extracts, Western Controls, were designed for use with the Anti-ACTIVE®
MAPK and JNK pAbs. Each contains both treated and untreated cell extracts for use in
Western blotting analysis. The NGF (nerve growth factor)-treated cell extract (Cat.# V8110) is
ideal as a positive control for detecting activated ERK1 and ERK2. The sorbitol-treated
cell extract (Cat.#
V8100) is ideal as a positive control for detecting activated JNK1 and JNK2.
Anti-PARP p85 Fragment pAb
Anti-PARP p85 Fragment pAb (Cat.# G7341) is
directed against the 85kDa caspase-cleaved fragment (p85) of human poly(ADP-ribose)
polymerase (PARP). The specificity for the cleaved form of PARP makes this antibody a
novel marker for early detection of apoptosis. The antibody is designed for use as an
immunocytochemical/immunohistochemical marker for apoptosis in cells and tissues.
Nde II
New restriction enzyme, Nde II (Cat.#
R7291)
Source: Neisseria dentrificans Recognition Site: 5'
