From Single Cell to Whole Animal: New Imaging
Technologies in Neuroscience Imaging technologies have become important tools
in our search to understand how the genome and the proteins that it encodes
dictate cellular function. The ability to image cellular and molecular events in
real time is changing the way we think about molecular processes within the
central nervous system. This article previews the Promega SFN Satellite
Symposium, which will be moderated by Ron Kalil from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison. Speakers for the symposium include: Nancy Kanwisher, Ph.D.,
Paul Forscher, Ph.D., and Karel Svoboda, Ph.D. Mark H. Ellisman, Ph.D. will be
the keynote speaker.
