Bioluminescence Conference in Amsterdam

Friday November 14th, 2008

On Friday November 14th, 2008 the 3rd Benelux Cell Signaling and Bioluminescence Conference was hold in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This is one of the conferences of the European Cell Signaling and Bioluminescence Tour.
Promega Benelux sponsored this scientific conference in Amsterdam which offered interesting lectures and ample time to meet and discuss topics with your peers.

New Biosensor technology
Promega Corporation has recently launched a breakthrough cell-based biosensor technology, called GloSensor™ Technology. The non-lytic, live-cell GloSensor cAMP Assay is the first application which features a genetically engineered form of firefly luciferase. The benefit to pharma screeners and academic scientists alike will be more biologically relevant data captured directly from living cells. cAMP is a key signaling molecule for many G-protein coupled receptors. GloSensor cAMP Assay is the first bioluminescent cell-based biosensor for the direct, intracellular kinetic monitoring of cAMP, and ideally suited to HTS and uHTS applications. During the conference this new technology will be presented. Read more ...
