The Maxwell® 16 system brings Personal Automation™ to low- to moderate-throughput automated DNA extraction from FFPE tissue sections, tissue biopsies or cells in amniotic fluid, CSF or urine. Using this tool, clinical laboratories can improve efficiency while eliminating use of hazardous organic solvents.
Legend: DNA was purified from human FFPE tissue sections (5 micron) and analyzed using
the MSI Analysis System, Version 1.2 (Cat. #MD1641) on a capillary electrophoresis instrument.
Legend: DNA purified from FFPE sections (5 micron) from 3 different human tissues and
quantified using real-time PCR. An internal PCR control (IPC) was amplified in all reactions indicating
no PCR inhibitors present.
Legend: DNA was purified from human cell lines added to CSF, amniotic
fluid or urine.
