Maxwell® 16 Cross Contamination Datasheet
The Maxwell® 16 system brings Personal Automation™ to low- to moderate-throughput automated DNA extraction from blood or buffy coat. Using this tool, clinical laboratories can improve efficiency while ensuring consistent results.
Legend: DNA yield and concentration from blood samples obtained from 5 individual donors.
For whole blood processing, 400µl of sample was processed. For buffy coat processing, either 250µl
or 500µl of buffy coat fraction was processed.
Legend: DNA was purified from alternating 300µl blood samples obtained from
male (M) and female (F) donors. Extracted DNA was subjected to qualitative PCR, and the amplification
products visualized
on a gel.
