Health & Dental Insurance
Promega employees, domestic partners and families are eligible for health and dental insurance coverage beginning on their date of hire. Promega offers two healthcare plans and Delta Dental provides our dental coverage.
401(k) Plan
Our 401(k) plan is administered by Fidelity Investments, offering numerous investment options with access to a retirement manager. Employees can contribute up to 25% of pre-tax dollars and Promega matches 50% of the first 6%.
Time Off Benefits
Employees begin accruing vacation on the first day of employment. In addition, full time employees receive 3 personal days beginning on their date of hire, and accrue 9 sick days annually. Part time employees are eligible for time off benefits on a prorated basis.
Flexible Spending Account
Promega offers Flexible Spending Accounts. Employees can set aside pre-tax dollars to fund eligible uninsured health and/or dependent care expenses.
Term Life Insurance
Promega offers Term Life insurance to all regular employees at no cost; coverage is three times annual salary, to a maximum of $400,000. Additional supplemental life insurance is available for employees and dependents at a discounted rate.
Short-Term Disability and Long-term Disability
Promega pays for 50% of the cost of short-term and long-term disability insurance for eligible employees who enroll in the company-sponsored plans.
Long Term Care Insurance
This plan allows you to purchase insurance to help cover the cost of long term care due to an accident, prolonged illness, or disability that does not allow you to take care of yourself for an extended period of time. In addition, this program is available to spouses, parents and in-laws.
Tuition Assistance
After one year of employment, employees are eligible to apply for tuition assistance to benefit their career.

Breakfast and lunch are served daily. Various lunch specials are available as well as a full service soup and salad bar.

Internet Accessibility/Computer Hardware Subsidy
After one year of employment, eligible employees may apply for a subsidy to help towards the purchase of home computer equipment or to offset the cost of high-speed internet access.

Corporate Information Resource Center (CIRC)
Promega maintains a state-of-the-art library to support our employees. In addition to our ability to rapidly deliver any scientific document, CIRC provides on-line access to 100+ core life science journals as well as numerous other on-line data sources and services.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Our EAP provides 24 hour a day confidential assistance to employees and their eligible dependents with a wide range of individual and family issues. “WorkLife Core”, a counseling program provides referrals for financial, legal and life care consultation and resources.
Art Exhibits
Quarterly art showcases are exhibited on campus at the BioPharmaceutical Technology Building. Exhibits include art openings and an annual employee art show.
