Eligibility
Open to individuals who are at least 18 years old and are customers of Promega or visitors of the Promega website. Participants do not have to buy Promega products or have to pay in order to participate. The GoTaq Challenge is limited to one entry per person. Employees of Promega and members of the immediate families of such employees are not eligible. Employees of authorized Promega distributors are not eligible.
The GoTaq Challenge is not available in all geographic regions. Please check with your Promega representative or authorized Promega distributor for availability in your area. Void where prohibited by law.
Entry
Go to www.gotaqchallenge.com to request a free sample of the GoTaq product that best suits your needs. Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery. After receiving the sample, compare GoTaq head-to-head with a similar product from your current supplier. After completing your comparison, return to www.gotaqchallenge.com, answer a brief survey and submit your comparison data (gel images, qPCR results, etc.).
Alternatively, you may enter the GoTaq Challenge by visiting
www.promega.com/gotaqchallenge/alternate-entry.pdf. Print out and complete the entry survey and return it to: GoTaq Challenge, Promega Corporation, 2800 Woods Hollow Road, Madison WI 53711-5399, USA. Only fully completed surveys will be entered into the drawing.
Please consider that your organization’s internal policy may not allow you to receive incentives or your employer’s permission may be requested before participating in the drawing. Limit one entry per person.
Prizes
Within one week of each entry deadline (below), Promega will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received prior to the deadline. The winner will be notified by e-mail, phone and/or postal mail at the sole discretion of Promega. In the event a winner cannot receive his/her prize for any reason, the prize shall be awarded to an alternate winner via another random drawing. All entrants remain eligible for the GoTaq Challenge drawings listed below that occur after the date of submission. Entry deadlines may be extended without prior notice.
The grand prize will be awarded in to the winner’s institution or company and not directly to the individual winner.
Upon accepting a prize, the winner will be posted on www.gotaqchallenge.com in the form of First Name, Last Initial, Type of organization, City, State, Country. For example: John D., University, Madison, WI. USA.
General
In case of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an online entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the e-mail account is registered. The winner may be required to provide evidence that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in forfeiture of the prize.
Entry information becomes property of Promega. No prize transfer or cash redemption permitted. No prize substitution, except by the sole discretion of Promega, in which case a prize of comparable or greater value will be awarded.
Taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by the rules and decisions of Promega which shall be final in all respects relating to this drawing, including without limitation the interpretation of this rule. Participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Promega, its subsidiaries, affili¬ates, and their officers, directors, agents and representatives and their respective employees from any and all claims, charges, injuries, liability, losses and/or damages of any kind resulting from or arising out of the participation in the drawing and/or the acceptance, use, misuse or possession of any prize received by the drawing. Promega, its subsidiaries, affili¬ates, and their officers, directors, agents and representatives and their respective employees are not responsible and shall not be liable for: (a) late entries due to delays in delivery of product samples (b) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Promega that may cause the drawing to be disrupted or delayed.
