Comparison of DNA Recovered from FTAÔ Paper to Conventional Organic Extraction Procedures Using a Hae III Based RFLP System

FTAÔ paper, a chemically treated paper used for the storage and long term preservation of DNA samples, was evaluated using duplicate DNA samples. Comparison of the post restriction gels and analytical results demonstrated that high quality and reliable RFLP results can be obtained using this alternative method of storage.
