  Notes: The authors investigate the antineoplastic properties of fenretinide and try to correlate an increase in TGFβ1 expression with the induction of apoptosis in the human prostate cancer cell line PC3. Expression of TGFβ1 in PC3 cells was examined by immunocytochemistry. Cells were fixed in acetone, blocked with 5% goat serum, and stained with the Anti-TGFβ1 pAb (1µg/ml ). (0002454)
