Promega’s continued growth has created an opening for an
additional Forensic Regional Account Manager. This role is responsible for
planning and executing the sales, marketing, and technical services
activities throughout the assigned region in Southern Europe to achieve
sales objectives. This position is responsible for both sales and technical
support of European Sales of Branches and Distribution, for all GI products.
Targeted accounts are in the human identity market including government and
private forensic laboratories and paternity testing laboratories.
Ideal Candidates for this position will have:
• B.S. in Molecular Biology, Forensic Science, or related area and 2-3 years
experience performing DNA typing protocols.
• Highly motivated self starter capable of working with minimum supervision.
• Capable of effectively organizing, prioritizing, and completing complex
goals and objectives in multiple projects; including as applied to sales.
• Experience in using kits, instruments, and software for Forensic DNA
analysis.
• Experience presenting marketing and technical information to small or
large groups.
• Proven ability to effectively communicate (in writing and verbally) with
key contacts at all levels in an organization.
• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time; primary mode of travel is by
air.
