Program Overview
In a changing world, we become increasingly aware that some things are best unchanged. The global interest for sustainable practice is shaping new expectations in business. Promega Corporation has historically taken a balanced approach in maintaining a high quality in our products, our purpose and our people.

This year we took a look at ourselves through the triple-bottomline filter to examine our work in the context of sustainable practice. We knew we would have strong start with the existing business, community and employment policies that we have always practiced. But we wanted to fairly capture our practice against the measures used around the world. As more countries are standardizing sustainable requirements, we wanted to both provide easy access to our practices and, quite frankly, examine how we might improve our own performance.

Last year, we provide our first benchmark Global Sustainability Report. Our due diligence in environmental practice, community contribution and employee support are well documented. But then again, we start with an advantage over some industries. In Life Sciences, the nature of our work centers on bettering human life. Even so, breakthroughs that benefit are countered with compromised processes somewhere else. With diligence like this for constant improvement in sustainable practice, we can compromise less and contribute more to a better life for future generations.
