My
undergraduate advisor was fond of telling his students
“If you got all the answers with the first try they
wouldn’t call it ‘re-search’, they would only call it
‘search’.” We never found if half as amusing as he did.
But the truth is that the fun of science lies in digging
in and trying to figure out why things happened the way
they did. Sometimes what seems like a failure actually
leads to a spectacular success, as with the case of RNA
interference.
This issue of Promega Notes highlights tools and
reagents that can help you achieve that success no mater
where your interest lies: cloning, RNA analysis and gene
expression, proteins, miRNA, cell-based analysis,
small-molecule screening or in vitro toxicology.
Let our tools and reagents take some of the “re” out of
your research.
