Taq DNA Polymerase

When researchers think Taq, many researchers think Promega. Promega has been supplying the research community with reliable, affordable Taq DNA Polymerase for decades. Promega has two options for Taq DNA Polymerase: Taq in Storage Buffer A and Taq in Storage Buffer B. Taq in A is the original Taq offered by Promega and still preferred by many customer worldwide. Taq in Storage Buffer A must be used with our 10X Thermophillic Reaction Buffer containing Triton^®X-100. Taq in Storage Buffer B is the most popular Taq DNA Polymerase sold by Promega and can be used with our 10X buffer or virtually anyone’s 10X reaction buffer. Many researchers like this versability. Most researchers opt for the versions of the polymerases with separate reaction buffer and MgCl₂ but of course each enzyme is offered with buffer containing Mg²⁺ at 1.5mM final concentration in the reaction. 

Reliable: Compositions of the storage buffers have been optimized to assure quality performance of the enzyme under a variety of conditions. 

Flexible: Choose either Taq with 10X Reaction Buffer and separate 25mM MgCl₂ (Cat.#s beginning with M1) or Taq with 10X Reaction Buffer containing 15mM MgCl₂ (Cat.#s beginning with M2).
