The pGEM®-T and pGEM®-T Easy Vector Systems are affordable, rapid systems for the basic subcloning of PCR and RT-PCR amplimers based on the pGEM®-5Zf(+) Vector backbone. The systems utilize the LigaFast™ System’s Rapid Ligation Buffer to accomplish ligation of inserts into the vectors in 1 hour.

Single Digest to Release Insert: Drop out your insert in pGEM®-T Vector with a
BstZ I digest. Drop out your insert in the pGEM®-T Easy Vector with a
BstZ I, EcoR I, or Not I digest. Of course, you can use the other restriction sites within the multiple cloning sites to subclone as well.
Convenient Primer Sites for Sequencing: Each vector has binding sites for SP6, T7, M13 Forward and M13 Reverse primers.
Convenient RNA Polymerase Promoters: The dual, opposed SP6 and T7 Promoters allow in vitro transcription from either strand of the insert.
Choice of Host: You decide whether you use our High Efficiency JM019 cells or any other cells you would like. Our vector systems can be purchased with or without competent cells.
