To be offered June 22-26 in partnership with Promega Corporation's Genetic Identity Team, this practical course is for undergraduates (2 and 4-year) as well as high school seniors and interested others who want to gain valuable laboratory experience in the processing of human samples for forensic DNA analysis.

The Vermont Forensic Laboratory is pleased to announce that the 2nd Annual Green Mountain DNA Conference will be held from July 27-29th, 2009 at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel & Conference Center in Burlington, VT. The program is filling up and we are excited about the content and speakers lined up for this year's meeting. Similar to the previous meeting, we will be holding a session on new developments in the forensic laboratory. If you would like to be considered for an oral presentation, please submit a short abstract describing your research as soon as possible. We are now ready to begin the registration process - please keep early registration in mind as it's on a first come, first serve basis and the maximum number of attendees is set at 70.
