GloSensor™ Technology
New Live-Cell Biosensor for GPCR Studies
The GloSensor™ cAMP Assay provides a simple and powerful new way to measure cAMP levels in cells. cAMP is a key second messenger involved in GPCR signaling, acting through Gs- and Gi-coupled proteins. The assay uses a genetically modified form of firefly luciferase containing a cAMP-binding protein moeity. Binding of cAMP causes a conformational change that leads to increased light output. The assay is well suited to HTS and uHTS platforms.

Product Information
Design Concept for a cAMP Biosensor

The GloSensor™ cAMP Assay is a 'zero step', non lytic, live-cell assay ideal for kinetic and modulation studies of signaling through cAMP. The simple protocol is easily scalable to your throughput needs.
Simple, Scalable Protocol

Pre-equilibrate cells with GloSensor™ cAMP Reagent for ~2 hours.
Treat with specific agonists/antagonists or library compounds.
Measure luminescence after 15-30 minutes.
