PCR Cloning
Promega provides a complete solution for PCR cloning without the hassle, steps and expense of other methods.
PCR cloning requires just four simple steps.
1. Amplify, Use PCR Master Mix, an optimized, high performance,
ready to go mixture of Taq DNA Polymerase, Buffer, MgCl2 and
dNTPs.
2. Purify PCR product from a gel slice or directly from a completed PCR reaction in
under 15 minutes using the silica-membrane spin prep Wizard®
SV Gel and PCR Clean-Up System.
3. Clone PCR product into the pGEM®-T System of your choice in about an hour.
4. Transform Competent cells, use Promega's High Efficiency JM109 cells (or choose your own competent cells).
