Cell Viability Assays

The MultiTox Assays use differential protease biomarker detection to quantify the number of both live and dead cells in a single plate well. By measuring both viability parameters in one well, many sources of variability are controlled, resulting in more consistent data.

Featured Products

CellTiter-Glo® Luminescent Cell Viability Assay

Twofold Jurkat cells dilutions were made in RPMI with 10% FBS in a 96-well plate. Results show linear relationship between cell number and luminescence.Promega's robust luciferase technology allows direct measurement of key energy metabolite ATP, resulting in sensitive quantitation of the number of healthy cells in culture.

CellTiter-Fluor™ Cell Viability Assay

This nonlytic, single-reagent-addition fluorescence assay measures the relative number of live cells in a culture after experimental manipulation by quantitating a conserved and constitutive protease activity within live cells.

CellTiter 96® AQueous One Solution Cell Proliferation Assay

A colorimetric method for determining the number of viable cells in proliferation, cytotoxicity or chemosensitivity assays.

BacTiter-Glo™ Microbial Cell Viability Assay

A homogeneous assay for determining the number of viable bacterial cells in culture based on quantitation of ATP present. The homogeneous assay involves adding a single reagent (BacTiter-Glo™ Reagent) directly to bacterial cells in medium and measuring luminescence without washing or removal of culture medium.
