ADME/TOX Assays
Our luminescent ADME/TOX Assays rely on the properties of a proprietary recombinant luciferase, Ultra-Glo™ Recombinant Luciferase, formulated to generate a "glow-type" signal and provide superior luminescence performance across a wide range of experimental conditions.

CYP450 Assay System
The P450-Glo™ Assays provide a luminescent method for measuring cytochrome P450 activity. A conventional cytochrome P450 reaction is performed by incubating the cytochrome P450 and a luminogenic cytochrome P450 substrate. The amount of light produced is directly proportional to the activity of the cytochrome P450. Can be used for cell-based CYP450 induction assays.

A change in GSH levels is an indicator of oxidative stress, potentially leading to apoptosis or cell death. This luminescence-based assay detects and quantifies glutathione (GSH) in cells or in a variety of biological samples, providing a simple, fast, sensitive alternative to colorimetric and fluorescent methods that can be adapted easily to high-throughput applications.

Provides a homogeneous luminescent method for measuring monoamine oxidase (MAO) activity from recombinant and native sources, as well as the effects of test compounds on MAO activities. The luminescent signal generated has a half-life greater than 5 hours and the amount of light produced is directly proportional to the activity of MAO.

The Pgp-Glo™ Assay detects the effects of compounds on recombinant human Pgp in a cell membrane fraction. Relying on the ATP dependence of firefly luciferase, ATP is first incubated with Pgp, then the Pgp-ATPase reaction is stopped, and the remaining unmetabolized ATP is detected as a luminescent signal.
