In 2011, Promega took the first step in expanding the reach of corporate responsibility by surveying our key suppliers to understand their social and environmental commitments. Of the vendors who responded to our survey, over 50% have sustainability or corporate responsibility programs either established or in development.

Promega recognizes the important role our suppliers play in the scope of our Corporate Responsibility initiatives, and we strive to work with companies that have similar commitments.

Promega acknowledges the opportunity to reduce impacts through our global supply chain. For instance, sourcing from local suppliers can reduce impacts from shipping, and this is a current focus. Additionally, we plan to collaborate with key suppliers to identify ways to reduce impacts and add mutual business value.
