Information
RNA interference (RNAi)
is a natural process by which gene expression can be silenced by
sequence-specific degradation of RNAs.
The
focus of this webinar is to present basic information on RNAi, its mechanism
and how it can be used to address gene function in mammalian cell systems.
Special attention will be given to RNAi sequence design and optimization, as
well as RNAi effect monitoring and confirmation, which are two critical
steps when studying gene function with RNAi-based technologies.
